Angela Chen is organizing efforts to help WNC

recover from Hurrican Helene.

Hey everyone, love to you all!

A flurry of activity over here -

1. I am organizing an in-person Asheville Fundraiser Holiday Bazaar, Dec 7 and 8 from 10am to 2pm, at the Circle Center, located in the old Myrtle Beach Mall (which has the Bass Pro, Belk and Books a Million). Various vendors, raffle prizes, possibly an Open Mic, lots of fun all around! Jewelry, artworks, crafts, used books... Come out and support a good cause: a portion of all proceeds go to supporting the Baba Zoom Hurricane Relief Fund. Please help spread the word!

2. Simultaneously, I am organizing a Virtual Holiday Bazaar. Items will be either Asheville area businesses (who will receive full sale value) or other vendors who will contribute a significant portion to the Baba Zoom Hurricane Relief Fund. Here is the link (you may safely donate to this site, or the Bazaar items are under the”Auction” tab) https://givebutter.com/c/NbSnXb

The picture above is the lovely eyeglass shop, L’Optique, in Biltmore Village after the storm. It was a lovely place, the creation of Hannah Gibbs Schauer, Kipper’s dear wife.

Location:  MAC, 53 Red Oak School Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787

Check the website calendar for the date of the next Dhuni,

which tends to move about.

Baba ordered that the Dhuni be lit on the 12th of every month at Meherabad.

Participants throw a stick of sandalwood dipped in ghee into the fire,

an act signifying the renunciation of some shortcoming.

Meher Baba’s own poem on the Dhuni is recited on the occasion.
